GUIDED MEN

An installation by Baptiste Ibar

Ibar's installation is inspired by a quote by Martin Luther King Jr.

"Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power, we have guided missiles and misguided men."

Placed around The Lot are ghostly soldiers as shadows of the men and women, past and present who are misguided into war by corrupt leaders. This is a small prayer to those soldiers. The gold and red paper above some of the soldiers heads is Vietnamese prayer paper.
