Born in 1971 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, Karin Weiner is an artist based in Brooklyn.  She received her MFA from Hunter College, New York and her BFA from the University of Vermont, Burlington, and has been part of solo and group exhibitions nationally.  Her interest in the natural world is manifested in her collages: using cut-out images from National Geographic, she connects contemporary and historical worlds through manipulation to create wholly new visual realms.
