Born in 1970 in Oakland, California, Tracey Snelling is a photographer whose work incorporates elements from both history and popular culture.  Her photographs have been featured in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas, de Saisset Museum in Santa Clara, California, the Microsoft Collection in Redmond, Washington and the Progressive Collection in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was the recipient of a Kala Fellowship from Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, California in 2005.  She received a BFA from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, as well as an AA in Physical Science from San Joaquin Delta College, Stockton, California, A.A., Physical Science.
