The Philip Johnson Glass house in New Canaan, one of the most celebrated examples of modernist architecture in the world and a National Trust Historic site will open for the first time in its 50-year history this spring.  Designed by Philip Johnson (1906-2005), this 47-acre site, with buildings designed in each decade of Johnson’s life, showcases a survey of innovations in architecture, art, and landscape design from the second half of the twentieth century.
